JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on Monday at 03.56 western Indonesia time occurred in the northwest of West Halmahera, North Maluku. This was conveyed by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
The center of the earthquake was at a depth of 94 km at coordinates 1.89 North Latitude and 127.38 East Longitude, approximately 63 km northwest of West Halmahera.
According to BMKG, there is no potential for a tsunami.
