JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno supports the plan to hold a Justin Bieber concert in November 2022. He revealed this when he met with the concert promoter in Indonesia, PK Entertainment.

Through his Instagram account, Sandiaga also expressed his support for the Justin Bieber concert which was considered to be able to open up opportunities and employment opportunities.
"Where are the fans of @justinbieber? Who can't wait for the concert in November? Currently, the music industry is one of the points of the revival of the Indonesian economy through tourism and the creative economy," wrote Sandi.
"By holding a Justin Bieber concert, it will certainly have an impact on opening up opportunities and job opportunities, so that it becomes a trigger for the presence of national and international events in Indonesia," he continued.
Furthermore, Sandi assessed that Justin Bieber's concert would be safe to carry out in the midst of a pandemic as long as health protocols were implemented. He also hopes that implementers and visitors will be comfortable in adapting according to the protocol.
