ASN Asked To Improve Performance During Ramadan

GORONTALO - Regional Secretary of Gorontalo Province Darda Daraba asked all state civil apparatus (ASN) in the local provincial government to continue to improve their performance during the month of Ramadan 1443 Hijriah.

"Even though we are fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan, we are more enthusiastic in working because services to the community must continue for that long," he said while coaching employees at the local provincial government at the Bele Li Mbui Building, Gorontalo City, Gorontalo, Thursday.

He explained that fasting is not an obstacle for residents to carry out activities, but instead becomes an opportunity to be more productive in carrying out their respective duties.

Moreover, he said, during Fasting Month there will be a reduction in working hours compared to normal days.

"Do your job well, especially in accelerating the absorption of the APBD. If there is a task outside to be completed quickly. Also, if the budget is included in the budget, it must be processed quickly," he said, as quoted by Antara.

Government tasks, he continued, must be carried out carefully and according to the rules and establish effective communication with leaders and colleagues to prevent things that are not desirable.

He also asked his staff to remain disciplined in carrying out health protocols during activities inside and outside the office because the situation was still the COVID-19 pandemic.

"In carrying out our daily duties, we must continue the health protocol, later the rules for homecoming are still waiting for official regulations from the central government," he said.
