Mimika Regency Government Facilitates Police To Build Bhayangkara Hospital In Timika

MIMIKA - The Mimika Regency Government of Papua Province supports the Indonesian National Police's plan to build the Bhayangkara Type D Hospital in Timika in 2022.

Mimika Deputy Regent Johannes Rettob in Timika, Thursday, March 31, said the presence of Bhayangkara Hospital in Timika would increase the readiness of health facilities in the area to help the community.

"If a permit from the local government is needed for the construction of the Bhayangkara Hospital in Timika, we are ready. The main principle is that all efforts to build and provide services to the community must be fully supported by the local government," said John Rettob.

He admitted that he had met with the National Police Asrena Team led by Brigadier General Budi Yuwona while traveling by plane from Jayapura to Timika on Wednesday (30/3).

The arrival of the Asrena Police Team to Timika was to meet with Mimika Regent Eltinus Omaleng to discuss plans for the construction of Bhayangkara Hospital in Timika.

Mimika Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police IGG Era Adhinata said Bhayangkara Type D Hospital would be built next to Mimika Police Headquarters Agimuga Street Mile 32, Kuala Kencana District.

"The construction of the Bhayangkara Type D Hospital in Timika is solely to serve the people in the Timika area and its surroundings, especially members of the Police, members of the TNI. The location for the construction of the Bhayangkara Hospital is near the Mimika Police Headquarters due to considerations of being close to the Mimika Police Headquarters and the Mobile Brigade Head Battalion B Papuan Police," explained Era Adhinata as quoted by Antara.

According to him, the budget for the construction of the Timika Type D Bhayangkara Hospital is entirely from the National Police Headquarters and is planned to start work in 2022.
