Jambi Governor Reminds ASN Standards For Dressing: Shirts Go Inside, Use ID Card

JAMBI - Jambi Governor, H Al Haris, reminded that the dress code for state civil servants (ASN) must be according to standards because it involves discipline, character, and image as a servant of the state who is an example for the community.

"We have to wear standard ASN clothes, go inside, and wear ID cards", said Governor Haris at the Jambi Provincial Government Level ASN Discipline Improvement Ceremony in 2022 at the Jambi Governor's Office field in Telanaipura, Jambi City, reported by Antara, Monday, 21 March.

It did not stop there, he also reminded the use of black shoes with laces and wearing all the attributes by complying with all binding rules.

"As ASN, we need to raise the image because the ASN must be disciplined and obey all the rules", he said.

The governor emphasized that both structural and functional ASN in every regional apparatus organization (OPD) of Jambi Province must be more disciplined, professional, and compact in their work so that they get maximum results at work.

To increase the sense of nationalism, he said, togetherness between superiors and subordinates needs to be improved because humans always make mistakes.

"A boss needs to move his staff to discipline, don't let it", he said.

He advised the Jambi Provincial Government ASN to work according to their respective main tasks and functions with the work system that had been formed.

According to him, officials or superiors must talk to the staff regarding the main tasks and functions. If all the work is completed according to the main tasks and functions properly, the program of activities will get the desired "outcome" together.

The governor asked ASN to continue to improve the values of integrity and work even better in the future, especially related to budget execution.

"We have to really plan the budget well, don't be busy making disbursements at the end of the new year", he said.
