JAKARTA – Trisno's escape has ended. The 30-year-old man was arrested by members of the Cengkareng Police for the crime of theft at Malibu Shophouse (Ruko), Cengkareng, West Jakarta. Trisno was arrested at his boarding house in the Jelambar area, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.

The Head of the Cengkareng Police, Commissioner of Police Ardhie Demastyo, said the perpetrator surrendered and admitted his actions after police officers showed video footage of the perpetrator's actions. The police also conducted a search of the perpetrator's boarding room to look for other evidence.

"So we found some evidence in the perpetrator's boarding house, such as BPKB (vehicle ownership certificate) of motorcycles belonging to the reporting company, cars, and tools to break into shop doors," said Commissioner of Police Ardhie when confirmed by VOI, Friday, March 18.

Trisno admitted that when he launched his action, he was with a friend named Hengki. However, Trisno said, Hengki was not in the same room with him.

"So after we processed the crime scene yesterday, the team immediately moved to make arrests. Thank God we were able to catch the perpetrators in less than 24 hours," he said.

Currently, the police are still developing the theft case. The perpetrators are also still hunting for the hiding place of a person who is still at large. Meanwhile, Trisno is still undergoing examination.

Previously, it was reported that a group of theft specialists managed to break into a number of items at Ruko Malibu Blok J 29-30, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta on Wednesday, March 16, early in the morning.
