TANGERANG - The Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) of Tangerang Regency guarantees the availability of basic ingredients until the holy month of Ramadan is safe.

Head of the Trade Division (Kabid) of the Tangerang Regency Disperindag, Iskandar, admitted that the price of the material had increased.

"Every time we enter Ramadan, there are usually increases, but there are two important things, namely ensuring the availability of basic goods and price stability," said Iskandar when confirmed, Thursday, March 10.

Therefore, his party will routinely monitor and report prices. This is also in accordance with the technical instructions from the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia regarding price monitoring activities

"We will continue to carry out routine surveillance, every day we will check food warehouses and markets to ensure availability," he continued.

Iskandar said his party would strengthen cooperation with local market traders. The goal is to prevent price increases that exceed the highest eceter price (HET).

He detailed several material prices that have increased, namely the price of beef from IDR 110 per kilogram to IDR 130 to IDR 140 per kilogram.

The price of frozen meat is now sold for IDR 110 to IDR 120 per kilogram from the previous price of IDR 90 thousand to IDR 100 thousand per kilogram.

"Other prices, such as chili, do increase, because they are influenced by climatic conditions. But in general the stock of basic needs is still affordable and available," he said.
