JAKARTA - The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a total of 2,119 Ukrainian military infrastructure targets during a special operation, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

"A total of 2,119 Ukrainian military infrastructure targets were destroyed during the operation. Among them are 74 command posts and communication points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces; 108 S-300, Buk-M1, and Osa air defense missile systems, as well as 68 radar stations," he said in a press statement, as reported by TASS, March 6th.

Konashenkov further said, including the destroyed targets 69 aircraft on the ground and 21 more in the air, 748 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 76 multiple rocket launchers, 274 field artillery and mortars, 532 special military vehicles, and 59 drones destroyed.

Konashenkov also revealed that the Russian army on March 5 destroyed one Mi-8 helicopter, four Sukhoi-27 jets of the Ukrainian air force, and one Bayraktar TB-2 drone.

"More attacks on Ukrainian military infrastructure were carried out today. On March 5 alone, Russian troops destroyed five radars and two Buk M-1 air defense missile systems," he said.

"During an air clash near Zhitomir, four Ukrainian Sukhoi-27 jets were shot down. The air defense systems downed one Sukhoi-25 aircraft near Nezhin. Also, the air defense forces destroyed one Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter and one Bayraktar TB-2 drone, " said Konashenkov.

Separately, the Ukrainian military said more than 11,000 Russian troops had died so far and 88 Russian planes had been shot down since the start of the invasion, Reuters reported but could not substantiate the claim, while Russia has not updated its report of deaths and casualties.
