The Indonesian Army Has A New Uniform, The Striped Motif Is The Design Of Commander Andika

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Army National Army (TNI AD) has a new uniform in the form of Field Service Clothing (PDL). The PDL was exhibited by the Chief of Army Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman today.

Dudung exhibited the new TNI AD PDL during the 2022 TNI AD Leadership Meeting (Rapim) at the TNI AD Headquarters in Jakarta. This is known from the official upload of the TNI AD Instagram account, @tni_angkatan_darat.

"The appearance of the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, SE, MM, and several main TNI AD officials at the 2022 TNI AD Rapim event held at Headquarters, Wednesday looked different. new motive," wrote the Indonesian Army's Instagram.

The account also uploads a photo of Dudung with other TNI AD officials, including Deputy Chief of Staff (Wakasad) Lt. Gen. Agus Subiyanto, Expert Staff Coordinator (Koorsahli) Kasad Lt. Gen. Afini Boer, and Inspector General TNI AD (Irjenad) Lt. Gen. R. Wisnoe. Prasetja Boedi.

The four of them stood wearing PDL TNI AD uniforms with new motifs. Quoting the tniad.mil.id page, Kasad said the new PDL TNI AD uniform was a design from the previous Kasad, General TNI Andika Perkasa, which had been refined.

He said the new PDL motif looks fresher and brighter, bringing a dynamic aura. This spirit is expected to encourage the development of a modern and adaptive TNI AD organization with global developments.

On the same occasion, the TNI AD Rapim also showed an ambulance as a result of the innovation of Korem 151/Binaiya Kodam XVI/Pattimura which was intended for Babinsa as the spearhead of handling the COVID-19 pandemic. The vehicle is called the Army Ambulance in the People's Heart.

This innovative ambulance can also transport patients in an emergency situation and requires early treatment.

"This Babinsa ambulance will soon be produced and distributed throughout the region and will be used by Babinsa," said Kasad.

The meeting of the TNI AD in 2022 has the theme "Prosperous and Professional Soldiers as Pillars of the Army in Supporting Economic Recovery and Structural Reform".

This event is a follow-up to the implementation of the TNI-Polri Rapim led by President Jokowi which was held at TNI Headquarters Cilangkap yesterday. The aim of the TNI-Polri Rapim is to convey the vision, mission, and policy points of the TNI AD leadership to all Pangkotama/Kabalakpus within the TNI AD so that the implementation of the 2022 FY budget can run smoothly in accordance with the goals and targets that have been set.
