TANGERANG - Head of Criminal Investigation Unit 2 of Soekarno Hatta Airport Police, Ipda Suwandi arrested four perpetrators of hacking the PeduliLindungi application as a condition of flight. One of the perpetrators, AR who hacked PeduliLindungi with a special application, is an honorary member of the Tangerang sub-district

However, he did not know more clearly about what application the perpetrator used to break into PeduliLindungi.

"As for this person who included PeduliLindungi, yes, for temporary information, what kind of application does he have," said Suwandi when contacted, Saturday, February 26.

"He (AR) is a sub-district officer, honorary, maybe he knows where his weaknesses are, maybe he knows," he said.

Kelvin explained that the health letter in the form of a softcopy was included in the application. Then it is combined into the PeduliLindungi application.

"From softcopy, for example, negative antigen or negative PCR, we enter it into the application," he explained.

Regarding the data in the swab or PRC, perpetrator AR included the name of the clinic located in Kuningan, West Java. In fact, doctors written are fictitious.

"The clinic he appointed is in the Kuningan area, West Java. We are also searching for the clinic, maybe it's not operating anymore, (the perpetrator's confession) is just the name of the doctor," he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Commissioner Rheza Rahandhi, said that the counterfeiting process was going fast.

"If the process is fast, now it is digital," he said.

Previously reported, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Kombes Sigit Sany Setiyono said the four suspects with the initials MSF, S, HF, and AR, had been running this business for five months.

They, said Sigit, were Soetta Airport officers who sold fake antigen swab letters at a price of IDR 200,000 – IDR 300,000.

Officers were finally able to uncover this crime on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport.

"We have managed to secure 4 suspects, currently they have been named as suspects and are being detained at the Soetta Airport Police Detention Center. It's been 5 months, even in February hundreds of (fake) letters were produced,” Sigit told reporters at the Soetta Airport Police Station, Friday, February 25.
