Jokowi Will Camp At Zero Point Of The National Capital City, Facilities Are Starting To Be Prepared

PENAJAM - Several facilities at the location where President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will camp will begin to be prepared at the zero point of the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

Secretary of the sub-district of Sepaku, Adi Kustaman, said several preparations had been made to follow up on President Jokowi's plan to camp at IKN.

"Several preparations have been made by the government to welcome President Jokowi's wishes, while preparations in the field are tentative", he said, quoted by Antara on Friday, February 18.

Preparations to welcome President Jokowi, he said, synergize with the central government.

The preparation of several facilities at the zero point of the IKN is led by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), while the official who will accompany the President is not yet known, he said.

Although until now there is no certainty that President Jokowi will camp at the new IKN Indonesia location, he said, coordination is now continuing to ensure thorough preparation.

Preparations were carried out around the zero point of IKN Nusantara, according to him, because the President might camp in that location.

The preparation of the facilities carried out includes making a car park, making a pavilion, and making stairs from point zero to the parking lot.

The facilities and infrastructure prepared at the location where President Jokowi's camp is located, he said, include MCK (bath and toilet) facilities, telecommunications networks, electricity, and others.

He estimates that President Jokowi will camp in the Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency after the appointment of the Head of the Archipelago IKN Authority.

"Technology has not been discussed, general preparations are still being made. Information is waiting for an authoritative body to be formed, then the President will camp at the IKN location", said Adi Kustaman.
