Food Prices From Shallots To Beef Have Decreased

JAKARTA - The National Food Agency (Bapanas) noted that the price of a number of food commodities generally fell from rice, chili, oil, to beef at a price of Rp. 131,990 per kilogram (kg), as of Saturday, December 12.

Quoting Antara, based on data from the Bakanas Price Panel at 07.46 WIB, in general food prices at the retail level nationally, premium rice fell 0.13 percent or Rp20 to Rp15,380 per kg.

Likewise, medium rice fell 0.45 percent or Rp60 to Rp13,400 per kg; but Bulog's rice supply stability and food prices (SPHP) slightly rose 0.08 percent or Rp10 to Rp12,520 per kg.

Onion commodities were also observed to fall 1.33 percent or Rp549 to Rp39,950 per kg; but stable garlic rose slightly by 0.56 percent or Rp240 to Rp42,720 per kg.

Next, the price of curly red chili commodity fell 3.84 percent or Rp1,440 to Rp36,890 per kg; then red cayenne pepper also fell 5.73 percent or Rp2,550 to Rp41,970 per kg.

Furthermore, the price of pure beef decreased by 2.38 percent or Rp3,220 to Rp131,990 per kg; as well as chicken meat also decreased by 0.92 percent or Rp340 to Rp36,740 per kg; then broiler eggs also decreased by 1.44 percent or Rp449 to Rp30,030 per kg.

Even so, dried soybeans (imports) were observed to increase by 0.87 or Rp90 to Rp10,450 per kg; in contrast to consumption sugar, it fell 1.17 percent or Rp20 to Rp17,760 per kg.

Furthermore, simple packaged cooking oil fell 1.71 percent or Rp329 to Rp18,429 per kg; then bulk cooking oil also decreased by 2.56 percent or Rp450 to Rp17,110 per kg.

Then the bulk flour commodity fell 0.99 percent or Rp100 to Rp10,010 per kg; as well as non-in bulk flour decreased by 2.60 percent or Rp340 to Rp12,740 per kg.

Then the price of corn at the farmer level also fell 2.13 percent or Rp139 to Rp5,980 per kg; as well as the price of fine salt with sodium falling 0.61 percent or Rp70 to Rp11,420 per kg.

Next, the price of bulge fish was observed to fall 0.34 percent or Rp130 to Rp37,730 per kg; then tuna fish also fell 1.13 percent or Rp360 to Rp31,480 per kg; as well as milkfish also decreased 4.58 percent or Rp1,540 to Rp32,050 per kg.
