KPK Explores Land Status And Permits For The Development Project Of SMKN 7 Tangsel

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the status and licensing of the land that is the location of the construction project for SMKN 7 South Tangerang, Banten. This was done by examining the Head of the South Tangerang City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) Bambang Noertjahjo on Thursday, February 17 yesterday.

The investigation was carried out to investigate allegations of corruption that occurred at the Banten Province Education and Culture Office for Fiscal Year 2017 related to land acquisition for the construction of the school.

"The investigative team examined a number of witnesses, namely Bambang Noertjahjo, Head of the South Tangerang City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP)," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, February 18.

During the examination, the KPK investigators explored a number of things from Bambang. One of them, continued Ali, is related to the status and land permits for the construction project of the SMKN 7 Tangsel building.

"The person concerned was present and confirmed, among other things, regarding the status and permits of the land for the construction project of SMKN 7 Tangsel," he said.

Actually, the KPK will also examine the Section Head of the South Tangerang City Building and Spatial Planning Office, Muhamad Hafiz. However, he is not present and will be recalled.

"Muhamad Hafiz was not present and confirmed to be rescheduled for the next examination," said Ali.

Previously, the KPK announced that it was investigating allegations of corruption at the Banten Province Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud). This riot is related to land acquisition to build SMKN 7 South Tangerang in 2017.

Not only that, the KPK has also conducted searches at the homes and offices of related parties in the Jakarta, South Tangerang, Serang, and Bogor areas. The search found evidence including documents, electronics and 2 cars.

Even though it has explained that there has been a search, the KPK is still closed about the construction of this alleged corruption case and who has been named as a suspect. Later, information delivery and announcements of those involved will be made when arrests or detentions are made.
