4 Students Bringing Sickles In Daan Mogot Arrested, Police Call Teachers And Parents

JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Patrol Team arrested 4 students in a brawl on Jalan Raya Daan Mogot, Wijaya Kusuma, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. The four students also confiscated evidence of sharp weapons, the type of sickle.

The brawl did not last long. The pioneer patrol team who arrived at the location immediately dispersed the two warring camps.

West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Samapta, Commissioner Rahmad Sujatmiko, said his party had dispersed the student brawl that took place on Jalan Raya Daan Mogot, Wijaya Kusuma, Grogol Petamburan.

"Four students were arrested and sharp weapons were confiscated as evidence," he said when confirmed by VOI, Friday, February 18.

Commissioner Rahmad said the perpetrators and the evidence were handed over to the Tanjung Duren Police, for further investigation

"Clashes of brawls were throwing stones. As a result there were several students who suffered puncture wounds on the head due to being hit by stones and we have handled them," he said.

Separately, Tanjung Commissioner Sector Police Chief Rosana Albertina Labobar confirmed that his party had accepted the handover of the students involved in the brawl.

"We are still in the process of checking and we will call the school and their parents," she said.
