"Alhamdulillah, the 100 percent circuit is very ready. For now, what is being accelerated is the beautification around the circuit," he said in Mataram, Antara, Monday, February 7.
He explained that the beautification aims to make the Mandalika Circuit the most beautiful street circuit in the world.
"This beautification is a 'positioning' that Mandalika is the most beautiful street circuit in the world, because the exoticism and beauty of this circuit is extraordinary, then it is supported by the condition of the surrounding environment which is also beautified," he said.
In addition, added Zulkieflimansyah, the lanes around the Mandalika Circuit will be expanded into two lanes to avoid congestion during the MotoGP event.
"The road around the circuit which was originally one lane has been expanded to become two lanes according to the President's direction to avoid traffic jams when the moment of truth or MotoGP event takes place. Hopefully, by the end of February everything will be completed," said the Governor of NTB.
