Ridwan Kamil's Hope To The Siliwangi Military Commander Maj. Gen. Kunto Arief

BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil hopes that the Commander of the III/Siliwangi Regional Military Command, which is now held by Major General TNI Kunto Arief Wibowo, can synergize with the West Java Provincial Government, especially in handling COVID-19 and environmental issues.

"In 2022, we still have many challenges, COVID-19 will of course still be present, but the economic revival and others must be maintained," said Ridwan Kamil after welcoming the Commander of Kodam III/Siliwangi, at Pule Makodam III/Siliwangi, Bandung City, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, February 2nd.

The governor said that 2022 is a year full of challenges that can only be passed with synergy and collaboration with various parties.

TNI Major General Kunto Arief Wibowo is now officially serving as Pangdam III/Siliwangi replacing Major General TNI Agus Subiyanto who has been assigned a new assignment as Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Wakasad).

For Kang Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, the figure of Kunto Arief Wibowo is familiar and has worked together. In 2020, the son of former Indonesian Vice President Tri Sutrisno served as Kasdam III/Siliwangi.

Before becoming Pangdam III/Siliwangi, Kunto first served as Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division of Kostrad in 2021.

Kang Emil is optimistic that Kodam III/ Siliwangi under the leadership of Major General TNI Kunto Arief Wibowo, can maintain resilience in the face of COVID-19 and increase vaccination coverage in West Java.

"Our vaccinations are rising so fast, including in remote areas. Hopefully, it can be maintained," he said.

Likewise, in the process of environmental recovery, especially the Citarum Harum Program, its commitment must be maintained.

"For environmental commitment, an example is the Citarum Harum Program," said Kang Emil. fragrance.

Pangdam III/ Siliwangi Maj. Gen. TNI Kunto Arief Wibowo is ready to collaborate with the Provincial Government of West Java to realize the West Java Vision of Being Born and Inner Champion. He asked for support and prayers from the people of West Java in order to carry out the leadership in accordance with expectations.
