Getting To Know Huawei Aito M9, A Premium SUV Filled With A Third Of China's Luxury Car Market
JAKARTA - Huawei deserves to be proud of its work in the automotive industry through its collaboration with Seres in presenting the Aito M9, a full-size SUV that is now a byword in the Chinese luxury vehicle market.
Since its launch in February 2024, Aito M9 has sold 190,000 units, or filled a third of the luxury car market share with prices above 500,000 yuan (above IDR 1.1 billion). This achievement even surpassed premium brands such as Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, and Porsche.
Meanwhile, for the Indonesian market, Aito M9 itself is conducting market tests through PT Sokoindo Automobile with great potential, which will be the next model presented by Seres in Indonesia after the tiny car of Seres E1.

Then what makes M9 special?
Launching Carnewschina, Aito M9 made a brilliant achievement by winning five stars in the C-NCAP safety and collision test program last July, making it China's safest car.
His safety performance even surpassed major competitors such as Li Auto L9. C-NCAP itself has now transformed tighter, comparable to Euro NCAP, so this award further strengthens Aito M9's reputation.
The Aito M9 is available in two main variants, namely the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) powered by two electric motors with a total output of 390 kW (523 hp) and a 100 kWh battery capable of traveling up to 630 km (based on CLTC standards). Furthermore, the EV variant (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) produces 365 kW (489 hp) power with a pure electric range of 225-275 km CLTC.

Well, the AITO M9 feature has now been upgraded with ADS 3.0, which allows for smart driving navigation updates in urban environments. New features such as navigation in roundabouts and automatic parking including temporary parking on the side of the road offer a comprehensive smart driving experience.
The advantages of this technology are evident in the latest smart driving technology evaluation report from Germany's leading automotive consulting firm, P3, where AITO M9 managed to reach first place.
Through collaboration under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) umbrella, Huawei provides a comprehensive smart vehicle solution, while Seres is responsible for production.
