Brother-in-law Poisoned By Brother-in-law In Palembang Because Of Heartache Motives

Palembang Police Chief Kombes Pol Harryo Sugihartono said, from the results of the examination, the suspect poisoned his sister-in-law because of the victim's hurt words. Then the suspect poisoned the victim with fish poison weighing 250 grams and put it in the herbal medicine.

"The perpetrator bought poison through e-commerce or marketplace. Then it was given into herbal medicine until the victim died," said Harryo, Friday, December 20.

Harryo added that the suspect pretended to challenge the victim. If you can finish the herbal medicine without vomiting, you will be given Rp. 300,000.

"So the suspect pretended to pose a kind of challenge to the victim, let him drink herbal medicine mixed with fish poison. The victim died a few hours after drinking herbal medicine," he said.

Seeing the victim dead, the suspect hid the victim's body behind the cupboard and fled before finally being arrested. Officers managed to secure evidence of used mineral bottles used by the suspect for the herbal medicine container. "The motive for murder is because the suspect and his family often mock his 3-month-old son," he explained.

For his actions, the brother-in-law who poisoned his younger brother, was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder with the threat of the death penalty.
