Kakorlantas Reveals 3 Clusters Main Focus Of Christmas-New Year Candle Operation
JAKARTA - Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police Inspector General Pol. Aan Suhanan revealed three clusters that became the main focus of his party in the 2025 Christmas and New Year Holiday Security Candle Operations.
Inspector General Aan said the first cluster to be the main focus was the point of congestion and the accident-prone point on toll roads.
On the toll road, there are still several crucial points that become congestion points. Then, some point prone to accidents. We have prepared personnel and how to act that will be done," he said, Tuesday, December 10.
The second cluster is a traffic condition on the crossing. Korlantas, in this case, he said, had coordinated with ASDP and all stakeholders there to manage traffic flow.
Then, the last cluster that became the main focus was the traffic conditions on arterial and tourist routes.
"We have mapped tourist routes that may be people's favorites in West Java, East Java, Central Java, Bali, Medan," he said.
Inspector General Aan said the clusters were of the main concern considering that based on the predictions of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), there was an increase in the number of vehicles by 2.8 percent compared to last year's Nataru holiday trip.
So far, Korlantas has conducted a route survey to a coordination meeting with stakeholders to improve Nataru's travel services this year.

"Please for people who make complaints, get any information, to find out the traffic flow situation, especially during the Christmas New Year holiday, please convey it to the call center," he concluded as quoted by ANTARA.
