Japan 2023 MTV Video Music Awards Colored By Stabbing Incidents
JAKARTA - The terrible incident marked the Japanese MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAJ 2023) which was held at K-Arena Yokohama, Yokohama, Japan, on Thursday, November 23.
According to The Japan Times, a woman was stabbed with a sharp weapon by an unknown figure who immediately fled after carrying out her action.
Based on the news, none of the artists present were affected when the incident took place.
MTV VMAJ 2023 was attended by musicians and singers from various countries around the world, including K-pop idols from South Korea.
Fantagio as Cha Eun Woo's agency who was there, said the stabbing incident had no impact on the artist.
"No information shows our artist is in a worrying situation," management representatives told MyDaily.
Meanwhile, the victim of the stabbing incident is known to be a 40-year-old woman. The victim suffered a stab wound to the stomach.

The stabbing incident occurred at around 17.45 local time. At that time, MTV VMAJ 2023 had been running for 3 hours 45 minutes.
The Yokohama Regional Police are said to be still looking for the perpetrators until Saturday, November 25 yesterday.
An eyewitness who was present at K-Arena Yokohama said the terrible incident occurred while he was queuing for signatures.
"I was standing in line asking for an artist's signature when a police car and ambulance arrived. It was scary that something like this happened (at an akbar event)," said the witness.
