Waiting Ends, Kai Havertz Takes Arsenal To Puncak Lengserkan Man City

JAKARTA - The opportunity finally arrived after Arsenal beat Brentford 1-0 in the English Premier League match at the Gtech Community Stadium, Sunday, November 26 in the morning WIB. Kai Havertz's goal not only won but also brought Arsenal to the top of the table to shift Manchester City.

The competition was still heating up as it entered its 13th week. Man City finally failed to maintain a position at the top after a 1-1 draw against Liverpool.

Liverpool did fail to win the throne in the standings, but it was Arsenal who did it.

The win over Brentford saw the Gunners pocket 30 points. A one-point lead from Man City who had to step down to second place.

Meanwhile, Liverpool, who have 28 points, slipped to third. But Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are already overshadowing Liverpool.

The two teams will duel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, this Sunday night. The winning team will shift Liverpool from its position.

Arsenal themselves had to wait for Man City's chance to slip. That hope began to emerge when Man City failed to get full points after being detained by Chelsea 4-4 before the international match break.

When he returned to compete in domestic competitions, Man City again failed to win against another 'big six' team, Liverpool.

Arsenal, previously, failed to maintain a position to maintain competition with the Cityzens after losing 1-0 to Newcastle United.

But they managed to get up by beating Burnley 3-1 and then winning over Brentford.

Havertz's goal towards the end of the match that stopped Brentford's resistance. He managed to make good use of Buyako Saka's cross.

This was the only goal in that game. Moreover, Arsenal are having a hard time dealing with The Bees.

They took the lead through Leandro Trossard in the 42nd minute. But Trossard's goal was disallowed because he was in an offside position.

"We are happy and deserved to win this match," said Arsenal manager Mikerl Arteta in response to the team's win over Brentford.

"We showed a very good game and should have scored more goals in the early minutes," he said.

With Arsenal's position now at the top, Arteta admits that it is not easy to achieve it. "We are finally in a position that is not easy to achieve. However, we can show strength and confidence," he said again.

Meanwhile, Havertz was satisfied with that victory. "My feeling is extraordinary. I've worked hard to get moments like this," said Havertz.

"In this match, my hard work paid off. I am happy to be able to help the team," said Havertz, who was bought from Chelsea at an expensive price of 65 million, but he has not been able to show his best performance.

In that match, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was again standing under the bar for the first time since September.

Previously, David Raya's position was won by a loan player from Brentford. As a loan player from his club, Raya could not appear in that match.

Hanya, Ramsdale hampir menghabiskan kesempatan emas untuk kemampuan di depan Arteta. Garanya dia melakukan blunder karena gagal menguasai bola yang kemudian dapat diangkap striker Brentford Bryan Mbeumo.

He then fired a shot into the net. Luckily there was Declan Rice who managed to throw the ball away. The score remained 1-0 for Arsenal until the end of the match which brought them to the top.
