Google Accounts That Will Not Be Active Will Be Deleted Next Month, Make Sure Your Account Remains Active
JAKARTA - Google will soon delete an inactive Google account for two years, starting in December. Although the exact date has not been announced, it seems that this will take effect from December 1.
With this deletion, basically, deleted accounts will lose access to apps such as Gmail, Google Photos, Drive, and other Google-owned sites or programs.
The news that the inactive account will be deleted was announced by the search giant in mid-2023. Since then, Google has given all users a full seven-month time to ensure that their account is tagged as active in Google's backend.
For that, so that your account looks active by Google, you have to take small actions. Here are some lists of basic actions that you can take so that your account is read as active:
