CoFTRA Data: Nearly Half Of Crypto Investors In Indonesia Are Young People
JAKARTA - Data from the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (CoFTRA) states that the demographic of crypto asset customers in Indonesia in 2022 is dominated by the younger generation in the age range 18-24 years (28.2 percent) and 25-30 years (28.5 percent).
Thus, it can be said that nearly 50 percent of crypto asset investment enthusiasts are young people under the age of 30. Where the student/student profession dominates with 23.5 percent.
During his visit to the CFX Indonesia office and meeting with the President Director of CFX Indonesia Subani, Plt CoFTRA Kasan said that with a complete ecosystem in the crypto industry, it is hoped that it can strengthen protection for the community as customers and provide certainty of business.
In addition, this ecosystem is also expected to accommodate the need for literacy and education for the community, especially the younger generation, in dealing with demographic bonuses.
"The movement of this crypto industry is very dynamic, and it is faced with demographic bonuses. So that with the presence of an ecosystem for the crypto industry that is increasingly complete, it can regulate the crypto market so that it gets better," he said in a statement received by VOI on Thursday, November 16.

CFX Indonesia President Director Subani said that the crypto exchange is trying to continue to socialize to increase Indonesia's capital market literacy and inclusion to the public.
