Semarang Prison Officers Thwart Smugglers Of Hundreds Of Koplo Pills

Semarang prison officer, Central Java, thwarted an attempt to smuggle hundreds of Koplo pills by a female visitor with the initials ES (24).

Head of the Semarang Prison Security and Order Administration, Andreas Wisnu, said as many as 199 pills with plastic bag containers were stored in the perpetrator's underwear.

He explained that the disclosure began with the officer's suspicion of one of the women who visited the prison

From the results of the examination, he continued, officers found plastic packages stored in the perpetrator's underwear.

"ES plans to visit MM's lover who is currently serving his sentence," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 14.

EA, who has only known MM for a month, said he, was asked by his girlfriend to deliver itching medicine with a salary of Rp. 1 million.

The coplo pills to be smuggled came from MM's messenger who handed them over to ES on the night before.

The perpetrator and the evidence of the prohibited pills from the prevention results, he said, were then handed over to the Ngaliyan Police for further legal proceedings.
