If He Becomes President, Prabowo Asks Workers Not To Demand Many Wages: We Give Free Lunch
JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate (candidate) Prabowo Subianto promised a number of subsidies for the workers so that their needs could be met.
Some of the subsidies promised include subsidies for fuel oil (BBM), school fees, to free lunch.
"We have a welfare state, we will talk to the labor leader, 'yes, brothers, health doesn't pay, electricity subsidies, fuel subsidies, then schools, we have to make schools don't pay, then we will give lunch'," he said at Sarasehan 100 Indonesian economists, in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.
In fact, Prabowo also promised that there would be a 100 percent transportation subsidy in big cities. This subsidy will also target labor groups.
"Then brothers and sisters, we must be brave like other countries of transportation in big cities, if necessary, subsidies are 100 percent, for people who need it. So if you don't use an air conditioner, then we will call the entrepreneur, how much do you need? This is because our fuel is from within the country, so we help entrepreneurs," he said.

According to Prabowo, this variety of subsidies can reduce labor spending.
With the various facilities obtained, Prabowo asked workers not to demand wages from employers.
"Large, you've got this, we've got this, we will free transportation so that you work lightly, so don't sue entrepreneurs," he said.
The reason, continued Prabowo, is that if entrepreneurs continue to be prosecuted regarding the increase in wages, then employers will move to other countries.
"If it's not profitable, the entrepreneur can move to Bangladesh, where is it, where is it," he said.
