Ganjar Alludes To Young People Want Instantly: Entering The Ogah Party But Interested In Becoming Regent To Governor

JAKARTA - Candidate for president (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo had mentioned the attitude of young people who were apathy to political parties. He said that most of them did not want to be invited to join but were interested in holding public positions, such as regional heads.

This was conveyed by Ganjar during a speech as a presidential candidate on the direction and strategy of foreign politics in an event organized by the Center For Strategic And International Studies (CSIS).

Initially, he mentioned his political career, which began young and joined the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDIP) before becoming a PDI-P (PDIP). Ganjar said that his desire to enter a political party arose after he often demonstrated when he was a student but did not see any changes.

"So it's true that my choice to enter the political party is not yet in Struggle," said Ganjar as shown on the CSIS YouTube account, Tuesday, November 7.

He often discusses political parties with young people. But, said Ganjar, most of them were not interested in joining because of various negative records.

When I asked young people, were you interested in political parties, joined? Most (say, red) no, "said the former Governor of Central Java.

Even so, young people are actually still interested in holding public positions. When I asked if I was interested in becoming regent, mayor, interested in becoming governor, president? They are interested, "said Ganjar.

This condition is considered to indicate that young people want practical things. In fact, occupying public office must all proceed.

"So the situation that drives them to become instant children, yes, please obey them gracefully," said Ganjar.

"Our senior task is to provide education that the process is important, including the process in our foreign politics," he concluded.
