Jokowi: Lately, There Are Too Many Dramas, If It's A Battle Of Feelings Repot Us All

JAKARTA - President Jokowi talked about the current political conditions ahead of the 2024 presidential election. For Jokowi, there are too many political dramas currently happening.

"I see that lately what we have seen is too many dramas, too many dramas, too many soap operas, there should be fight ideas, fighting ideas, not fighting feelings," Jokowi said in a speech at Golkar Anniversary, Monday, November 6.

"If there is a fight that makes us all bothered, I don't have to continue because it will go anywhere," said Jokowi.

Jokowi in his early remarks said that political competition is normal. The desire to win competition through the General Election/Pilpres is normal.

Political competition is normal, the desire to win is okay, it's natural, competing to win is very natural. But what we have to show is quality democracy, not divisive, democracy does not vilify each other, does not slander each other, democracy that we want to build that produces solutions, strategies for the progress of the nation," said Jokowi.
