Volvo Reveals Their First Premium Minivan EV Luxury Interior, EM90
JAKARTA - Volvo has again shown an image signaling the presence of their first premium EV minivan, EM90. Unlike the previous one that features an exterior display, this time the manufacturer released a luxurious interior image of the model.
Volvo EM90 is designed to offer maximum comfort with the typical silence of electric cars. This Swedish company designed the interior as best it could to reduce user stress.
Created by Design Studio Volvo in Shanghai, China, the interior of this car is inspired by Scandinavian living room combined with Asian elements that reflect the stunning natural beauty, so that it will be liked by customers.
"In every interior space you choose, you will find a stylish and soothing premium interior, reflecting Volvo's signature modern design," said Sophie Li, chief design of Design Studio Volvo, on the company's website, November 3.
The cabin offers a wide width and space with a variety of luxurious touches, such as luxury lounge chairs, a large panoramic sunset, and Scandinavian design details that create unmatched comfort.
Designed for family or business needs, Volvo EM90 is equipped with six seats that provide zones and private space for everyone. This includes various entertainment adjustments and comfort that can be personalized through elegant handwear and touchscreens.
In the second row, there are special lounge seats that offer the various facilities that passengers want, ranging from massage functions, individual ventilation and heating options, to integrated tables and cups. Meanwhile, the third row can be easily accessed through sliding backdoors and adjustable second row seats.
The panoramic Sunroof, which includes the entire cabin, is equipped with curtains and surrounding lighting settings, creating a typical Scandinavian atmosphere. From lighting that brings back famous northern light to a theme reminiscent of the Swedish forest and mid-summer dawn.

Volvo will showcase this vehicle on November 12. Previously, the manufacturer had released another teaser image featuring a panoramic and rooftop roof, with parts of the back exposed, adopting the latest lighting designs from other Volvo models.
