4 People Prevented From Going Abroad Regarding Alleged Receipt Of Gratification At PT Pertamina
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent four people from leaving the country regarding allegations of gratification at PT Pertamina (Persero). Prevention is proposed for the next six months.
"So that the investigation process for the alleged receipt of gratuities in the catalyst procurement tender at PT PTM Persero can run smoothly, the KPK has submitted prevention to the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia against four parties suspected of being related to this case," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, November 6.
Ali did not specify who was asked to be prevented from leaving the country. However, he said one of them was an official at a state-owned company.
"This is valid for the next six months and can be extended as needed," he said.
"KPK reminds the parties in question to be cooperative in attending every agenda of summoning the investigation team," continued Ali.

Previously reported, the KPK said that the alleged gratification received by the suspects reached tens of billions of rupiah. The perpetrators have not been detailed because the search for evidence is still being carried out.
Not only this case, but the anti-corruption commission is also investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of Liquidized Natural Gas (LNG) by the state-owned company. Former Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Karen Agustiawan was entangled in this case.
Karen it is suspected that the KPK has made the state lose 140 million US dollars or Rp. 2.1 trillion. The reason is that LNG's cargo purchased from the CCL LLC company in the United States is not absorbed in the domestic market.
As a result, oversupply cargo, PT Pertamina finally made sales in the international market with a loss condition. In fact, this commodity has never entered Indonesia and was used as originally intended.
