18 Houses Damaged Due To The Kupang Earthquake
The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) said 18 houses were moderately damaged in two districts affected by the M6.6 force earthquake at a distance of 15 kilometers southeast of Kupang.
The Head of BPBD NTT Ambrosius Kodo said that the 18 houses that were moderately damaged were six houses in Kupang Regency and 12 houses in Kupang City.
Furthermore, the number of damaged office units consists of four units in Kupang Regency and three units in Kupang City.
Next, two educational facilities were damaged, namely one unit in Kupang Regency and one unit in South Central Timor Regency.
From this incident, there were also three units of worship facilities in Kupang Regency that were damaged and one other building unit in Kupang City.
Ambrosius said there had been no incoming information or reports regarding casualties.
However, the data will be validated again on November 3, 2023.
Now, the Kupang City and Kupang Regency Rapid Response Team are conducting a rapid assessment of the impact of the earthquake on the affected locations.

The NTT Disaster Risk Management Forum (PRB) and the Kupang City PRB API Forum have also helped make a report on the situation of the earthquake.
The NTT BPBD has also coordinated with the TNI and Polri to collect data on the impact of the earthquake in the affected locations.
Ambrosius said the data would be updated based on the changing situation in the field.
