Presiden Groundbreaking Kantor BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Di IKN
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo laid the first stone or groundbreaking office of the Employment Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) in the capital city of Nusantara.
In his remarks at the groundbreaking event of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Office in East Kalimantan, which was watched via the Presidential Secretariat YouTube live in Jakarta, Thursday, President Widodo conveyed that the existence of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Office would add complete facilities at IKN and increase public confidence to stay at IKN.
"The existence of the BPJS Employment Office will add complete community facilities at IKN, adding to the public's confidence so that they don't hesitate anymore to live in IKN," said the President as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 2.
Jokowi said that the protection of employment social security is very important, so that workers are protected from social risks and economic risks.
Moreover, in IKN, he said, there were many development activities being carried out simultaneously in various projects involving many workers.
"Earlier, the President Director (BPJS) whispered to me, who worked in the archipelago and had entered BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, I think it was very good. We don't expect an accident, but if there is, someone has already protected it, namely BPJS Ketenagakerjaan," he said.
The President also said that apart from the BPJS Employment Office, four five-star hotels and one four-star hotel have been built at IKN.
