Police Hunt Sadistic Shooter Who Killed One Resident Of Palembang City

Palembang Police officers chased down a sadistic shooting that killed a resident of Palembang City.

Palembang Police Chief Kombes Harryo Sugihhartono said that currently the identity of the perpetrator has been identified and is being hunted.

"I ask the perpetrator to immediately surrender before something unwanted happens if the perpetrator commits cooperative or resists," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 30.

He explained the shooting case of a 32-year-old victim (MR) that occurred in the Plaju area, Palembang City on Friday (27/10).

The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the right chest and hands.

The victim was taken to the hospital. However, on Saturday (28/10) at around 19.30 WIB the victim breathed his last in the hospital. Then buried by the family.

"After we conducted an investigation, it turned out that there was a dispute over the ownership of a motorcycle, the victim was accused of taking the perpetrator's motorbike. However, the victim's family did not know anything about it," he said.

The bag that the victim was carrying also contained a firearm. However, the victim did not use the evidence at the time of the incident and was only in his bag.

Police are currently conducting ballistic tests on the bullets used by the perpetrators to shoot the victim.
