Beware Of StripedFly Malware, Kaspersky Gives These Tips
JAKARTA - Kaspersky recently discovered a malware called StripedFly that acts as APT, crypto miners, and even ransomware, which has the potential to expand its motives from financial gain to espionage.
StripedFly was first discovered in 2017, and only acts as a crypto miner. The malware was also originally not as famous and as sophisticated as it is today.
But Kaspersky's latest findings suggest that the attacker behind the operation now has the widest ability to spy on victims in hiding.
This malware collects credentials every two hours, steals sensitive data such as site login credentials and WIFI, as well as personal data such as name, address, phone number, company, and position.
