Prabowo's Presidential Candidate Health Test Will Be Conducted October 26 Or 27

Head of Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital A. Budi Sulistya said that his party was still waiting for the schedule for the implementation of the health test for presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto from the Indonesian KPU due to tests after registration.

According to Budi, his party received verbal information from the Indonesian KPU that there would be registration on October 25, 2023 so that his party was ready to carry out health checks on October 26 or 27, depending on the schedule from the Indonesian KPU.

"I received verbal information from the KPU that on October 25 there will be a candidate pair who register. So, there will still be a health check on October 26 or 27, depending on the schedule from the KPU," Budi said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, October 22.

Budi said that his party is ready to carry out health tests at any time, both on October 26 and 27.

"Of course we are ready. We carry out the mandatory KPU. If it is on October 26 or 27, we are ready," he said.

To this day, said Budi, there are already two presidential and vice presidential candidates who have finished undergoing medical tests, namely Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin on Saturday 21 October and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. on Sunday 22 October.

This is in accordance with the order of prospective pairs who register at the Indonesian KPU. The Anies-Muhaimin pair registered on Thursday 19 October at 09.36 WIB and the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud pair at 12.20 WIB.

According to him, the two prospective pairs will both complete the examination for 9 hours. The duration of the examination is estimated from 8'10 hours.

For the results of the examination, he said, it would be conveyed verbally to the Indonesian KPU after the RSPAD team of doctors held a plenary session.

This plenary session, he said, was attended by the entire examination team, both from the RSPAD, specialized ecology, BNN, and the leadership of Indonesian Psychology. This trial is to discuss the results of the examination by following the standards requested by the KPU.

The standard in question is that prospective pairs are physically, mentally, and free from drug abuse.

"The point is that this examination is expected that this candidate pair will truly be physically, mentally, and free from drug abuse. If they are elected, they will be able to carry out their duties as president and vice president," said Budi.
