BMA Targets Sales Of Up To IDR 10 Billion From Medical Devices
JAKARTA - PT Bina Makmur Abadi and PT ITS Tekno Sain Medika are targeting sales by the end of the year of IDR 5 billion to IDR 10 billion, following the launch of new medical device products.
President Director of PT Bina Makmur Abadi, Brigittemen said, launching new products made by the nation's children is expected to increase sales.
On the other hand, Brigitte said, the launch of this new medical device is expected to be sold and used in all health offices and hospitals throughout Indonesia.
In addition, he did not rule out the possibility of selling these products abroad, and his party must prepare all the verification requirements needed first.
"We hope that sales targets will increase, because this is a new product launching and not yet widely known in the market, so hopefully next year all hospitals and universities in Indonesia will get to know our products," he explained.
Brigitte said that his party issued 7 new medical devices that had been verified in the health ministry and had a distribution permit.
Meanwhile, Brigitte hopes that its products can be sold a lot and targets sales of IDR 5 billion to IDR 10 billion for surgical instruments. Meanwhile, other specialist-based products cannot be predicted because they must be based on the needs of specialist doctors.
He said, in the future there will be several new products and currently still in the process of being developed by ITS researchers and still need more in-depth testing.
"It is hoped that the medical equipment made by the nation's children will make TKDN rise," he explained.
ITS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir Mochammad Ashari hopes that the launch of this local product can reduce some of the needs of medical devices imported from abroad.
"We conducted research from downstream and collaborated with BMA for licensing and others. Products launched that have received a circular, hopefully with this launch we can improve TKDN," he said.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi asked ITS Tekno Science Medika and Bina Makmur Abadi not to stop in an effort to provide various medical devices for the wider public to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).

Budi said that he had to start building strength on health technology in order to provide various medical devices to the public.
"Mulai bangun kekuatan competensi di ITS lantaran ITS bergerak di teknologi kesehatan, sehingga memperkuat teknologi kesehatan, seperti dari teknik, mesin, biology dan kchemia," jelasnya, Rabu, 18 Oktober.
According to Budi, this has not been seen in several universities and universities in Indonesia so that ITS is expected to make the route available in Indonesia.
In addition, according to Budi, another important thing is that there are in-depth research and journals related to the use of products, market conditions and problems with previous products that are in the market.
Budi said the government continues to encourage medical devices originating from the nation's children by making technical trials in several hospitals and companies to make it easier for researchers to test these medical devices.
"The government has established a technical trial, so that it can make it easier for university researchers to try the research, besides that, never break through existing rules and do the right tests," he said.
