Edward Hutahaean Claims To Have The Prosecutor's Acquaintance Can Condition 4G BTS Case, AGO: Even If There Is, Take Strict Action

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will take firm action against prosecutors involved in alleged corruption at the 4G Bakti Kominfo base transceiver station (BTS).

The statement was in response to information revealed in the trial about Edward Hutahaean claiming to have acquaintances at the prosecutor's office and being able to'secure' the 4G BTS case.

"I make sure, I assure you, even if there is, the Attorney General's orders are firm, action will be taken, even if there is," said the Head of the AGO, Ketut Sumedana to reporters, Monday, October 16.

According to him, all information that appears in the medium will be used as deepening material by investigators. Including, about Edward Hutahaean, who was said to have shown a photo of the prosecutor's office.

"All the information revealed in the trial is of course the material for fellow investigators to be investigated," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Investigation of the Attorney General's Office of Jampidsus, Kuntadi, appealed to people who have litigants not to believe those who claim to be able to condition a case.

The Prosecutor's Office will continue to process a case according to the rules. The goal is that justice can be felt by all Indonesian people.

"I urge you not to trust anyone who claims to be able to take care of the case being handled by the prosecutor's office," said Kuntadi.
