Constitutional Court Session Of The Vice Presidential Age Limit: Recalling Gibran's Promise To Participate In Megawati
JAKARTA - The strong support to become the vice presidential candidate accompanying Prabowo Subianto was not responded to by the Javanese Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The son of President Jokowi once promised allegiance to Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"There are many offers. From other presidential candidates, there are many competitors," said Gibran when met by media crews at Solo City Hall, Monday, October 2.
"Once again I join the Ketum (Megawati)," he said.

Regarding all these offers, Gibran said that he had reported it to PDIP and also to Megawati.
"I met with whom exactly was reported to the PDIP DPP. What was the result of the meeting, I will definitely report it. I have a leader (political party)," he said.
Currently, the Constitutional Court (MK) is holding a trial for the age limit of presidential and vice-presidential candidates. The Constitutional Court's decision determines Gibran's political path. If the election lawsuit is accepted regarding the minimum 35-year-old vice presidential limit, Gibran can advance to become a vice presidential candidate because he is even 36 years old as of early October.
