Polman - Polres Polewali Mandar (Polman) arrested and named Rizal as a suspect in the murder of the New Village Secretary, Muh Saleh. The perpetrator admitted that he caught the village secretary in the Luyo sub-district, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi, having an affair with his wife.

Police Chief of Police, AKBP Agung Budi Leksono, said the perpetrator killed the victim by stabbing the victim's chest and thighs when he met near the victim's house.

"The person concerned committed a criminal act of stabbing the chest, thighs without further ado. We have carried out several reconstructions, the suspect committed a criminal act of jealousy," said Police Chief AKBP Agung Budi Leksono Wednesday, October 11.

The motive behind the sadistic murder case was due to the affair between the perpetrator's wife and the victim. The affair was revealed after the perpetrator caught the victim at his house at night.

The perpetrator became suspicious and then urged his wife to confess, and finally the affair was revealed.

According to him, before the perpetrator killed his victim, the perpetrator caught the victim and his wife three times, which resulted in the perpetrator being burned by a jealous fire.

"Even though he had reminded his wife, his wife repeated the affair three times, that's what we are investigating. Meanwhile, the victim is now dead," he said.
