Coming To Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School, Ganjar Talks About The Importance Of Vocational Education For Santri
CIAMIS - Ganjar Pranowo visited the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Ciamis, West Java, Monday 9 October for the national gathering with the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School extended family.
The students were very enthusiastic about welcoming Ganjar. They have lined up since the front of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School gate to take pictures or shake hands with Ganjar.
When he arrived, Ganjar was immediately greeted by the caretaker of the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School, Prof. Dr. KH Fadlil Munawwar Manshur. MS Ganjar was also given a red swab by KH Fadlil Munawwar.
The two of them also had a chance to talk inside KH Fadlil Munawwar's house. Only then, Ganjar walked to the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School Hall to discuss and talk with his extended family.
According to Ganjar, he received a lot of aspirations and input related to the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School which wanted the institution to become a university.
Currently, Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Islamic Boarding School is a Darussalam Institute (IAID) which is an Islamic Religious College by combining academic education with Islamic boarding school education.
"Earlier there was input so that the institute could become a university because it has not been completed for more than a year and we will try to help communicate with Gusmen (Minister of Religion) God willing, it will be smooth," said Ganjar after gathering with the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School family.
Ganjar also praised Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School for being one of the complete educational institutions. That's why he spoke about the importance of vocational education for the students of Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School to be more developed by having life skills.

"Umpama vocational education at the school level, students so that they have the life skills of both product collaborations," said Ganjar.
"So usually students who have one product at school can be collaborated with the company and so on, so this process can make our children have high enough knowledge quality, including establishing digital, yes," he added.
He is also optimistic that if the collaboration between Islamic boarding schools and the government continues, the results will make students of quality.
"I think the collaboration between those who have Islamic boarding schools and the government is one to prepare children to be accepted in society into an obligation," he said.
Meanwhile, the caretaker of the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School, Prof. Dr. KH Fadlil Munawwar Manshur, assessed that Ganjar Pranowo was a person who really cared about Islamic boarding schools.
"Then the two of them also pay attention to pesantren and are quite large," he said.
He also prayed that Ganjar would always be given health, and that his wish could be realized soon.
"Hopefully it will go well, all national figures are protected by Allah, healthy and well. Amen," explained KH Fadlil Munawwar Manshur.
