Jude Bellingham Didn't Expect To Meet Cristiano Ronaldo's Record
JAKARTA - Jude Bellingham equaled Cristiano Ronaldo's record goal early in his career with Real Madrid on Saturday 7 October. The England international scored two goals to help Madrid beat Osasuna 4-0 while securing the top position of La Liga Spain.
Previously, Ronaldo also scored 10 goals in his first 10 games after moving from Manchester United in the summer of 2009.
"I was a confident person, but I didn't expect such a good start. At the start of this season, you can't expect too much," Bellingham said in an interview after the game.
Bellingham's presence seemed to forget about Karim Benzema's departure last summer. Team-mates to coach Carlo Ancelotti also praised Bellingham's slick performance earlier this season.
"He wears his Superman coat for almost every game," said veteran defender Dani Carvajal, who scored an assist for Bellingham's opener.
"Bellingham is amazing. He was born to play with Madrid and determine an era. I hope this connection lasts for years so we can continue to play together. I like to play with Jude," said Vin totalius Junior who scored Madrid's third goal in the 65th minute.
"The start of the season was a surprise in all aspects. Nobody expected him to score like this," said Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

In fact, Osasuna's coach, Jagoba Arrasite also praised Bellingham's performance.
"He is a very complete player. He played well, scored goals, provided assists. He is still young and will only get better," said Arrasite, who watched his team's match against Madrid from Tribune, because he had to serve a ban on playing.
