Prosecutors Call 2 Experts To Investigate The Case Of Bribery Of Luxury Cars 2 Leaders Of The Bekasi DPRD
BEKASI - The Bekasi District Attorney's Office, West Java, summoned two experts to give views regarding the investigation into the alleged corruption case in the bribery of two luxury cars against elements of the regional DPRD leadership.
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bekasi District Attorney's Office, Rahmadhy Seno Lumakso, said two experts or people who have special expertise to strengthen findings at the investigation stage of this case.
"We summoned the first expert yesterday. He is a criminal expert, a professor at a university in Jakarta," said Seno, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 6.
Meanwhile, the second expert from professional circles. This expert will be asked for views related to evidence in order to strengthen case investigations. Bekasi District Attorney's investigators scheduled the presence of a second expert next week.
"The second expert gave an explanation to strengthen the evidence obtained by investigators," he said.
Seno ensured that the investigation into the alleged gratification case was still ongoing while waiting for further instructions from the leadership.
"Please be patient, the process continues, we will inform the public about any developments," he said.
The construction of this case began with reports from a number of elements of society that were followed up with reviews and data collection and information until the status of the investigation was upgraded to an investigation on Friday (11/8/2023) after investigators conducted an exposure at the West Java Prosecutor's Office.
The case in question is in the form of allegations of giving two units of luxury cars branded Mitsubishi Pajero and BMW from the hospital as physical work contractors to the Deputy Chairperson of the Bekasi Regency DPRD SL who is also the Chair of the PDI Perjuangan DPC Bekasi Regency.

Investigators have examined dozens of witnesses related to this case, including the two reported parties, only the alleged briber has not fulfilled the summons even though he has been properly summoned three times. In fact, the whereabouts of the hospital are not yet known.
