In The Aftermath Of Student Harassed At Uika Bogor, The Lecturer Resigns From Campus
BOGOR - Lecturer at Ib Khaldun University (Uika) on suspicion of sexually harassing a student has resigned. The campus also appealed to all students who felt harassed by the MDR to report.
Deputy Chancellor (Warek) Uika Bogor for Student Affairs, Dedi Supriadi explained that until now his party together with the PPKS Task Force are also still investigating the alleged sexual harassment case, which had gone viral on social media.
Dedi also invited students who felt they had been harassed by MDR to immediately report to the PPKS Task Force.
"Those who feel they are victims please report. We will protect (the identity of the victim) and we will make sure this process runs according to campus rules," said Dedi, Tuesday, October 3.
The University of Ib Khaldun Bogor ensures that it will resolve this case fairly and professionally in accordance with the facts and findings in the field.
"We together with the PPKS Task Force do not side with one side, we side with the side of justice, that's what we are trying to do. We also continue to take firm action against the person concerned," he said.
Due to the viral video of alleged sexual harassment, MDR as the alleged perpetrator was immediately asked to resign as a lecturer at Uika Bogor, in accordance with the Code of Ethics and the Norm of Life on Campus.
"We have given the person concerned a sanction in the form of resignation. So, starting today, the MDR is no longer active on campus. We have also transferred his course to another lecturer. He can no longer teach here. This is in accordance with the Code of Ethics and the Norm of Life at Campus," he said.

In the 24-second video, @mahasiswiuika admits that he was sexually harassed by one of the Uika lecturers at the Faculty of Islamic Religion with the initials MDR.
"Today I started to venture to speak up because I can no longer stand this pendam. I don't know what is in my lecturer's mind who continues to invite me to video calls," wrote the contents of the TikTok video caption @mahasiswiuika.
In the video, the uploader who is suspected of being the victim detailed what disgraceful actions a teaching staff took to his students.
In addition to video calls, the alleged perpetrator with the initials MDR also often asks the victim to send nude photos.
"Chatting WA by telling me to send my clothesless clothes. Sometimes sending messages or voice messages as yang/yg," he wrote.
"To meet the two of them off campus. Whether it's at the top, reddorz, Bekasi, Sukabumi. What is clear, invites them to meet together in a quiet place far from students," he continued.
Then, the lecturer also often pointed his eyes at the chest when meeting with female students.
When he met, my lecturer on campus with my friend, he always pointed his eyes at my friend's chest with a perverted gaze. He often suddenly sent swaphotos of his activities, "he explained.
