PDIP Secretary General: The Name Of The Vice Presidential Candidate Ganjar Is Not Far From The Circulating
The PDI-P (PDIP) said that Ganjar Pranowo's candidate for vice president (cawapres) in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) will continue to be finalized.
The discussion between PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and the general chairman of the supporting party and President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has been carried out.
It is known that Ganjar is currently promoted by three parties other than PDIP. The details are the United Development Party (PPP), Hanura Party, Perindo Party.
"From what was dialogued by Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, together with the general chairman, together with Mr. President Jokowi, who was very intense, it has been narrowed," PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 3.
Even so, Hasto said the name was no different from the existing name. However, opportunities for the emergence of new names could open up.
"The names are not far from what is circulating. But empirically 2019 can also appear other names," he said.
However, PDIP asked the public to be patient. Of course, the announcement will be made soon before the registration of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates opens on October 19-26.
"The closer you get, the closer you get," he said.
