Prabowo-PP Muhammadiyah Youth Discussing Youth Issues
JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto received a visit from the General Chairperson of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah Dzul Fikar Ahmad and his entourage and discussed the issue of youth, state sovereignty, economy, and the history of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah's journey.
As for the history of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah, there is a role model who has been named Mr. Hezbul Wathan who is an example, such as General Sudirman.
In a meeting held at the Ministry of Defense office, Jakarta, Prabowo expressed his admiration and pride for the figure of Sudirman who became army commander at the age of 29.
"Because maybe young people have forgotten, Muhammadiyah children are young. The age of 29 years the TNI Commander is inducted, extraordinary. Being able means he is self-taught. He reads for sure. The orders he made are extraordinary," Prabowo said as stated in a written statement quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 2.
Ketum PP Pemuda Muhammdiyah was accompanied by General Treasurer Macchendra Setyo Atmaja and also Chairman of the Infa Wilindaya Organization. Prabowo greeted them with warm greetings.
Dzul Fikar admitted that he was honored to be accepted to stay in touch with Prabowo in person, talk privately, and discuss various things.
"Alhamdulillah, we have just been accepted into contact by the Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto has a lot of input, discussions just flowed with him," he said.

He revealed that the meeting discussed the dreams of young people and the nation's sovereignty.
"We are talking about economic independence and we are talking about how young people today are taught to always be proud of their confidence as Indonesians," continued Dzul Fikar.
At the end of the meeting, Prabowo gave a souvenir in the form of a book Military Leadership of his written work. Dzul Fikar also prayed for Prabowo's health and success.
"We pray that Mr. Prabowo Subianto will always be successful in carrying out every effort," added the General Chairperson of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah.
