Former Head Of Bengkulu Health Center Suspect Of BOK Corruption With City Detention Status

BENGKULU - The Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has named a suspect in the corruption of funds for the allocation of health operational assistance (BOK), namely the former Head of the Puskesmas in Bengkulu RA City as a city prisoner.Determination of city detention after the suspect RA submitted an application not to be detained by the prosecutor after he was transferred by the Tipidkor Sub-Directorate Investigator of the Bengkulu Police Ditresrimsus."After receiving the delegation of the second phase of the case, the suspect RA along with evidence, the suspect did file a request not to be detained," said Bengkulu Prosecutor's Office Prosecutor's Office Head Rozano Yudistira in Bengkulu City, Antara, Wednesday, September 27.The second phase of the delegation was carried out after the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office stated that the case file was complete or P21, namely the suspect, RA, the former Head of the Fish Market Health Center, will soon undergo trial.The suspect RA was charged with the first primary indictment of Article 12 e of the Anti-Corruption Law and subsidiary Article 12 f or both articles 9 of the Anti-Corruption Law. The threat to the primary indictment is a minimum of four years and a subsidiary of at least one year.Previously, investigators from the Corruption Crime Sub-Directorate (Tipikor) of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Bengkulu Police named one of the Heads of Health Centers in Bengkulu City, namely RA related to the alleged corruption case.The determination of the suspect was carried out in connection with the alleged corruption case of cutting and collecting official travel expenses from the non-physical special allocation fund (DAK) in the health sector through health operational assistance (BOK) in 2022.The total BOK funds at the Puskesmas where the suspect works in 2022 are IDR 833.71 million and every official trip, recipients are deducted by IDR 30 thousand per person.Then, based on the results of the recapitulation of the BOK Puskesmas coordinator, the amount of receipt from the deduction or collection results from September to December 2022 in the first quarter was Rp32.01 million, the second quarter was Rp20.70 million and in the third quarter was Rp35.80 million with a total of Rp88.51 million.This budget should be used to support the performance of medical services and ensure the availability of services at the sub-district level.However, in its implementation, it was found that there were illegal cuts and collections by the Head of the UPTD Puskesmas in Bengkulu City.
In investigating the corruption case, investigators have examined the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the puskesmas and confiscated evidence in the form of cutting documents and recaps of cuts.
