Provisional Standings For The 2023 Asian Games: 6 Medals, Indonesian Contingent Outperforms Thailand As Rival For The ASEAN Region
JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent continues to collect medals at the 2023 Asian Games, until Tuesday 26 September morning WIB, a total of six medals have been won. This number makes Indonesia superior to Thailand in the standings list.
The latest achievement was won by the Indonesian contingent on Monday, September 25 through two medals in the form of one gold and bronze. Both were contributed by shooting sports (sports).
One gold medal donated was Indonesia's first gold medal. The result was thanks to M Sejahtera Dwi Putra's slick achievement when winning the 10m running target man with a total of 578 points.
Meanwhile, the silver medal was donated by shooting sports through the number 10 m running target range which was secured by Muhammad Badri Akbar, Muhammad Sejahtera Dwi Putra, and Irfandi Julio.
So far, the Indonesian contingent has collected six medals, with details of 1 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze. With this result, Indonesia KOni is ranked eighth in the 2023 Asian Games medal standings.
The Indonesian medal achievement was able to stick to Taiwan in seventh position in the standings with 2 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze.

Indonesia's total medals so far are also still above Thailand, which is a rival in the ASEAN region. Thailand itself is currently in ninth position with 1 gold and 2 bronze.
