Bandung City Government Will Transport Piles Of Cibeuying TPS Waste To Sarimukti TPA In 2 Days
BANDUNG - The City Government (Pemkot) of Bandung, West Java, is targeting piles of garbage at the Cibeunying Park Waste Processing Site (TPS) to be resolved in two days to be transported to the Sarimukti Final Processing Site (TPA).
"I ask that a maximum of two days be completed to be a priority to be disposed of to the Sarimukti TPA. Maybe it has been until 20 days to accumulate. This is not actually allowed," said Bandung City Regional Secretary Ema Sumarna while reviewing Taman Cibeuying TPS, Bandung City, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 20.
He targets that at least 12 tons of waste must be withdrawn to Sarimukti today. All vehicles were deployed to transport garbage from the Cibeuying Park TPS to the Sarimukti TPA.
In addition, Ema invites the public to begin to be aware of this emergency condition, to be able to sort waste out directly from the source.
"Our society is still far from awareness, so almost at all polling stations the waste is mixed at this time. In the future, the TPS should only be allowed to accept Inorganic waste and residue," said Ema.

In addition, Ema hopes that people get used to lostda culture (lotong sesa kitchen) so that all polling stations in Bandung do not boom.
"Empower loseda, so that organic waste is finished at home. In houses of worship, waste processing must also be prepared," he said.
Until now, his party still gets a quota of 2,470 net waste to Sarimukti. That amount must be utilized as much as possible.
Therefore, Ema said, his party will strictly maintain the TPS-TPS in Bandung City so that people do not throw garbage directly there.
"There must be officers who help guard here (TPS). It must be guarded 24 hours. Or at critical hours the community throws garbage, there we immediately move to secure the TPS," he said.
