President Reminds Social Forestry Decree Can Be Revoked If Not Productive
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reminded that the Social Forestry Decree (SK) could be revoked if the existing land was not planted productively.
"I will also check whether it is used productively or not. Don't just want to accept (the SK) turned out to be abandoned," Jokowi said in his remarks at the peak event of the Environmental, Climate, Forestry, New Renewable Energy Festival (LIKE), at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 18.
The President expressed his joy because the Social Forestry and Traditional Forests Decree which was divided covering an area of 6.3 million hectares.
Jokowi also asked the people who attended the LIKE Festival, who had received the decree, to raise and show the decree.
"Has anyone received it? Can it be removed, can it be shown, that you really accept everything. Have you received it all?" Jokowi asked.

The LIKE participants also seemed to lift and show the decree they had received.
The President reminded that the existing land must be planted productively. If not planted, the decree can be revoked again.
"It must be planted, it must be productive. Agree? Unproductive ones agree? I heard all this agree," he said.
