Governor Rusdy Mastura Visits Minister Hadi, Hopes To Accelerate Agrarian Problems In Central Sulawesi
Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) Governor Rusdy Mastura met with ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto in Jakarta, Monday 18 September. Rusdy wants to convey and discuss agrarian issues in the Central Sulawesi region to accelerate its resolution.
"Yes, the Governor has met with the Minister of ATR/BPN to solve agrarian problems," said Central Sulawesi Governor M Ridha Saleh, when contacted, Monday, September 18, as quoted by Antara.
Ridha said the meeting between Central Sulawesi Governor Rusdy Mastura and ATR Minister Hadi Tjahjanto took place at the ATR Ministry, in Jakarta, Monday.
The governor at the meeting was accompanied by Poso Regent Verna Inkiriwang and two experts from the Governor of Central Sulawesi M Ridha Saleh and Rony Tanusaputra.
During the meeting, the governor conveyed three things.
First, he said, the issue of licensing and utilizing land in the Napu Valley area, Poso Regency or former HGU PT. Sun Darby, which is currently the right to use the land, is controlled by the Bank. Land in the Napu area, Poso Regency, which covers an area of thousands of hectares.
Second, the problem of 42 plantation companies with a land area of approximately 400 thousand hectares. The company controls land without pocketing HGU.
Third, regarding the acceleration of redistribution and certification of 400 hectares of land in Donggala which is planned to be given to the community.

To the Minister of ATR, the Governor of Central Sulawesi explained that for the land of the former HGU in the Napu area, Poso Regency, currently there are two food companies that want to develop agribusiness, but are constrained because the land is controlled by the bank.
The governor hopes that the Ministry of ATR/BPN will accelerate the resolution of problems with oil palm plantations or other plantations that do not have HGU.
The Governor of Central Sulawesi suggested that an integrated team be formed between BPN and the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government to resolve this.
Meanwhile, for land redistribution and certification in Donggala, the Governor hopes that the Ministry of ATR/BPN will accelerate the issuance of certificates because the Donggala Regency Government has issued a decree for prospective land recipients.
