Google Launches Zoom And WebEx Apps For Android Auto
JAKARTA - Google is rolling out a new capability on Android Auto, which allows users to join Zoom and WebEx meeting calls with just audio.
"A year ago, the ability to answer direct phone calls from the car screen revolutionized the way we communicate on the road. We are taking the next step by making it easier and safer for you to join the scheduled meetings and conference calls from the car screen," said Haris Ramic, Director, Android Auto Product Management, Android in Google blog.
Not only that, Google is also expanding the availability of entertainment content and applications on Android Auto by presenting Prime Video and Vivaldi browser applications which are now available on the play store, for several car brands.
"Prime Videos are now available on Google Play for select Renault, Polestar, and Volvo Cars, and other brands will follow," added Ramic.
With Vivaldi's advanced functionality, you can safely explore the web while parking, so you can maximize your free time.

Furthermore, in the near future Google will also release the The Weather Channel application on Google Play, to allow drivers to know accurate weather forecasts and real time.
Weather Channel allows drivers to always get the latest information about changes in weather conditions with hourly weather forecasts, follow me, and radar Trip View.
Lastly, the search giant is also developing support for digital car keys, which allow you to unlock, lock, and start the car with only your phone.
"Already available in several European countries, support for digital car keys is now rolling out on specific Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia models in the US, Canada, and Korea, for drivers with compatible Pixel and Samsung devices such as the Pixel 7 Pro and Samsung S23+," concluded Google.
